Terry Copp’s Montreal At War, 1914-1918: Conclusion Now Available!
Terry Copp concludes his exhaustive examination of the city of Montreal during the First World War by asking questions on the relationship between historical memory and lived experience. Does the experience of Montrealers coalesce with popular national myths and modern understanding of the Great War? Was the Great War perceived in the same way it is today?
